Serraflazyme

Details

Serraflazyme (Serrapeptase) is a gift from silkworms and is a natural chelating anti-inflammatory agent. It has wide clinical use internationally over 25 years as an effective alternative to salicylates, ibuprofen and the more powerful NSAIDS. Serraflazyme occurs naturally. It is a physiologic agent with no inhibitory effects on prostaglandins and has no gastrointestinal effects.

Serrapeptase digests non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts, and arterial plaque and inflammation in all forms.

Serrapeptase is thought to work in three ways:

  1. It may lower inflammation by thinning the fluids formed due to trauma or injury and helps them drain, which, in turn, speeds repair of tissue.
  2. It may help lessen pain by inhibiting the release of pain-inducing amines called bradykinin.
  3. It may help cardiovascular health by breaking down protein by-products of blood coagulation called fibrin. Conveniently, Serrapeptase is able to dissolve the fibrin and other dead or damaged tissue without harming living tissue. This could enable the dissolution of atherosclerotic plaques without causing any harm to the inside of the arteries.

One can find close to 40 clinical studies about Serrapeptase, mostly from European or Asian researchers, since it is less known in the U.S. On the whole, the studies find that Serrapeptase can have tremendous benefits.
