Primary Glaucoma Review by Sara
My 4 year old Doberman has just been diagnosed with Primary Glaucoma. Is this is best formula you would recommend for him?

As a general eye multivitamin, this is an excellent one for supporting the optic nerve related to glaucoma. (Reviewed in 2015)
Can diabetes dog take Visioplex? Review by Nina
Hi there,
My dog is 11 years old and has diagnosed with diabetes. Can she take Visioplex? She has cataracts, is there any supplements from your website recommend for her eyes and / for her general health well-being?

Answer: We recommend a combination of the VisioPlex Formula and Can-C eyedrops (pet dosage: 1 drop each eye 2x daily)

For general health see the article on aging pets: http://pets.naturaleyecare.com/aging-dog-cat-pet.asp (Reviewed in 2015)
Will this help a dog, diagnosed with Secondary Glaucoma ? Review by Sophie's Mom
Hello... My Long Coat Akita Sophie is 3 1/2 years old. She has an auto immune disease, VKH in which her immune system attacks her vision and pigmentation. She has had this disease for a little over a year and it is being treated with Mycophenalate. There is no cure for VKH. She has developed secondary glaucoma in both eyes as a result of vkh and right now has vision loss that we are hoping is episodic in nature. Can Visioplex be given to a dog who has secondary glaucoma in hopes of reversing the way the eye produces aqueous humor that cannot be properly drained within the eye ? In other words, will this help open the drains in the back of the eye so that the fluid will properly drain, thus, reducing pressure within the eye ? Thank you so much for your help. VKH is devastating enough, but now with the secondary glaucoma on top of this, we are even more devastated for our Sophie. Thank you again.

(The questioner asked about optic nerve formula also, Dr. Bea, our holistic vet prefers Visioplex)

Dr. Bea's Answer: I would recommend the visioplex over the optic nerve formula because it has more things in it including a glandular eye extract which will address the autoimmune nature of the disease. You could add to that a pill of coenzyme q10 in 100 mg daily. And Carlson omega 3 fish oil, 1000 mg twice daily.

how to administer? Review by mic
Im sure many other people want to know how you administer those 8 pills per day.
Do you force them down their throat? Or you have another method?

Dr. Bea's answer: You can open the capsules and put the powder in the pet's food. (Reviewed in 2014)
