VIVA-Eyedrops is the sole ophthalmic lubricant for dry eyes that does not include preservatives, anticholinergics or mercury compounds in its formulation. It is FDA approved to use as a lubricant to relieve dry eyes or reduce further irritation of the eye. It is a non-oily solution for optimum comfort and efficacy.
Active ingredient is Polysorbate 80 (Demulcent and Antioxidant). It also contains Retinyl Palmitate which is a form of vitamin A.
Inactive ingredients include:
- Purified water
- Sodium Chloride (Tonicity Agent)
- Sodium Citrate (Buffering Agent and Antioxidant)
- Citric Acid (Buffering Agent and Antioxidant)
- EDTA (Chelating Agent and Antioxidant)
- Mannitol (Antioxidant), Retinyl Palmitate (Antioxidant)
- Sodium Pyruvate (Antioxidant).

VIVA eye drops are absolutely wonderful! When I use these drops I completely forget I ever had dry eyes. They are non-irritating (unlike some over the counter drug store brands) and they are so much more cost effective - a little really does go along way with these drops! (Posted on 9/2/11)Quality
