Description: Retinal Support Formula (2oz) - helps strengthen the retina through a variety of chinese and western herbs. From a Chinese medical perspective, this formula helps nourish the kidneys, liver and spleen, and helps nourish the retina by building blood, improving circulation, eliminating dampness, and strengthening overall energy.
Recommended for macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, Stargardt's, diabetic retinopathy, cone-rod dystrophy, macular edema, and other related retinal disorders.
The formula contains the following herbs:
Astragalus membranaceus (Astragalus) – helps boost the immune system, as well as having an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Panax Ginseng (Korean Ginseng) – helps improve heart and immune function, strengthens the immune system and is an excellent herb for overall health.
Atractylodes macrocephala (Atractylodes) – tonifies the Spleen, dries dampness.
Glycyrrhiza giabra (Licorice) – supports healthy lung and spleen function. Also has anti-inflammatory properties as well.
Angelica sinesis (Dong Guai) - has a history of use in China as a heart, spleen, liver, kidney and general blood tonic.
Bupleurum falactum (Bupleurum) – helps strengthen the Liver and improve the free flow of energy and blood throughout the body and eyes.
Cimicifuga racemosa (Black Cohosh) – Kidney yin tonic. Helps strengthen blood and essential fluids.
Citrus reticulata (Chen Pi) – from orange peals, promotes cardiac health and supports digestion.
Zingiber officinale (Ginger) – has natural anti-inflammatory properties, helps improve digestion, promotes stress relief.
Genitana lutea (Gentian) – helps support healthy liver and spleen function, helps immune function.
Aesculus hippocastanum (Horse chestnut) – reduces inflammation, helps increase blood flow and strengthen the veins.
Schizandra chinesis (Schizandra) – increases stamina, reduces fatigue, supports the Liver.
Vaccinum myrtillus (Bilberry) – helps improve night vision and protect photoreceptor cells in the eyes, and is an excellent antioxidant.
Lycii fructus (Lycium berry) – also known as “goji berry or wolfberry”, is a powerful antioxidant and helps regulate the immune system.

Suggested Dosage:
