These N-acetylcarnosine eye-drops have been shown in research studies to help improve cataracts, and possibly enable the patient to keep their natural lens avoiding the need for cataract surgery.
Can-C - These NEW Russian eye-drops are a major breakthrough in the prevention of senile cataract. They also help the aging eye to recover by improving its clarity, glare sensitivity, color perception and overall vision. We recommend a minimum of use over a 6-month period to evaluate the benefits.
The statistics in the human trials show that N-acetylcarnosine eye-drops applied for 6-months twice daily into the eye in patients all suffering from senile cataract, had the following results:
88.9% had an improvement of glare sensitivity
41.5% had an improvement of the transmissivity of the lens
90% had an improvement in visual acuity

Dosage:
As a preventative measure, use 1-2 drops in each eye 1-2 times per day. As for treatment, recommended dosage is two drops into the affected eye(s) two times per day. Hold liquid in closed eyes for 60 seconds for best absorption.
Application: Lean your head back and look up. Put “one drop” into your eye(s), blink a couple of times then gently close the eye(s). Do not blink or reopen for 60 seconds. Repeat this procedure if a second drop is used. This allows each drop to be absorbed into the eye tissue. Lie down or use a tilt-back chair if you have a neck problem.
Side effects:
To date, no serious side effects or contraindications have been noted in any of the clinical trials.
