Mastic may be helpful for peptic ulcers.

Mastic is the gummy extract of Pistacia lentiscus. Mastic is derived from a shrub in the family related to pistacios. It has been shown in one preliminary study and one double-blind study to help heal peptic ulcers. This may be related to its ability to kill Helicobacter pylori in test tubes.

  • Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus) 500 mg
  • Other ingredients: Cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, 1 to 2 capsules, taken twice per day between meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
