Details

MSM eyedrops soften tissue so that nutrients and healing agents are better able to be absorbed.

Your skin is porous. The membrane on the outside of your skin allows fluids to penetrate through the wall of the membrane, which behaves like a filter allowing nutrients and soothing and healing agents to enter the skin and waste particles in your sweat to exit.

When this outer layer of tissue becomes thick and leather-like waste fluids within are trapped and cannot exit, and nutrients on the outside cannot enter.

MSM Drops soften the membranes of the eye which perform similar functions, allowing them to be more permeable so that nutrients can pass through and provide nutrients to heal damage to the eyes. MSM Drops not only softens tissue, but repairs damaged membranes, equalizes pressures, clears up red spots and broken vessels, helps remove blemishes and other tissue particles.

A number of people have asked about the best way to use these drops - orally or as eyedrops. They are just pure MSM (sulfur), water and sea salt. As long as you are not allergic to sulfur (found in eggs, broccoli and cauliflower for example) then the drops are safe to use in the eyes. Some people ask about sulfa versus sulfur. Sulfa is a chemical used in medications, and has no relationship with sulfur which is a mineral used throughout the body.

MSM Drops are safe, sterile and nontoxic.

Ingredients: Triple UV Treated Deionized Water adjusted to 0.09% saline (derived from Sea Salt), Organic MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) 4%, Disodium EDTA as a preservative.

After lens replacement Review by RW
Quality
I had lens replacement 2 months ago. When I try to get off the prednisolone acetate drops 1% they become inflamed and painful. Doc says it’s called rebound effect and begins me back on regimine of tapering off drops over 4-6 week period. Also naming it iritis.
Can or should I use these in addition to the steroid drops. Would it help my eyes heal?

Answer:
The steroids are very strong. I would suggest starting the MSM drops (1 drops in each eye 3 times per day) after you complete the steroids.

However, in the meantime:

We recommend that you start taking natural anti-inflammatories such as omega-3 fatty acids, astaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin (Advanced Eye and Vision Support Formula), zyflamend, and vitamin D3. Our Anti-Inflammatory Eye and Whole Body Package 1 would be a good program to start with. We also recommend that you go on a strong alkaline diet as immediately. (Reviewed in 2018)

I have been using Msm eye drops for a month both orally and few drops in eye few times a day and have seen a great improvement for my Pterygium which is not at pupil yet and have seen a specialist and has said I am still in the safe zon.It is not as red and cant even feel it in my eye. just wanting to know how long I can use drops before they expire. Is it a month ??

Answer:
The drops often are fine to use for 2-3 months and can be used ongoing. After 30 days you can periodically check the drops by putting a drop in a spoon, and if clear, they should still be alright to use. If you see any cloudiness or materials in the drop, then toss out. (Reviewed in 2018)

Excellent benefits Review by Laney
Quality
Eye drops have cleared my floaters and my eye color seems more vibrant after taking this for three months now. You cannot be allergic to Sulfur. Sulfur is the third most abundant nutrient in your body and you cannot live without it. If you end up sick or have a bad reaction it’s due to the toxins you have being flushed out by the MSM. Corneal scar Review by Tasneem
Quality
I want to know whether MSM eye drop is beneficial for corneal scar with vascularized nerves.please let me know asap I'm really suffering a lot.

Answer:
MSM may help a little as it softens tissue to allow better transport of nutrients in the eyes, and so supports the body's attempts to heal if possible.

You might also try the Ortho K Homeopathic eyedrops and Lipo Vision Drops. (Reviewed in 2018)
SARDS Review by SARDS Doggie
Quality
This is not a review, a question! My little dog (min pin) was diagnosed with SARDS. Would this drop help with his illness?

Answer:
Would not help SARDS as far as we know. Taking targeted supplements such as the VisioPlex Formula to try to support the retina may be helpful to some extent. (Reviewed in 2018)
Other Successful Uses with MSM Review by Robyn
Quality
I purchased the MSM drops for my dog who has cataracts. I have been successfully using MSM for more than 10 years, because it lowers the histamine level, therefore, I have not had to use allergy medications just using MSM. I am also going to try it on the polyps/cobblestones on my eyelids. (Reviewed in 2018)
gloucoma & detached retina Review by Daniel
Quality
Question: Would the MSM eye drops help my eyes in any way?
Blind in Right eye (detached retina) IOP ~ 3 or 4.
Gloucoma in Left eye, IOP ~ 14. Floaters in Left eye. Combigan drop in Left eye morning and night. Travatan Z in Left eye at bedtime. Thank you for your response.

Answer:
MSM drops will not help with the eye that is blind, but might help a little with the other eye.

But for the eye with glaucoma: We'd recommend Viteyes Optic Nerve Support Formula and ReVision Formula for supporting both the optic nerve and potentially helping to reduce eye floaters. (Reviewed in 2018)

Want to use msm drops then use oclumed eye drops. My thinking is msm will enable oclumed to be better absorbed. Is this true. Had eye surgery and now have cataract.

Answer:
Yes, using the MSM Drops first before the Oclumed eyedrops would help with the absorption of the Oclumed eyedrops. (Reviewed in 2018)
Here is a question for you. Review by Jim G

I have had two retina surgeries. A third one is planned in 15 days. I have scar tissue build-up from the 1st and 2nd surgeries that are detaching the retina. Would this product help in softening up the scar tissue to prevent from detaching the retina? Please respond.

Answer:
Maybe, but we are not sure the MSM drops would reach the back of the eyes. Serrapeptase is an enzyme
taken on an empty stomach that helps the body break down debris in tissue and blood, so may be worth taking. (Reviewed in 2018)
MSM + silver Review by Jane
Quality
Perhaps you can help.....I have been using the msm+silver eyedrops which have improved my blinking and vision but as I had very dry eyes at start, plus one eye with both tearducts occluded and other one plus a small hole left and left for years on same eyedrops without seeing anyone these cause pain at first on administration then with massage around face goes but have to use other eyedrops plus exercise to keep moist...am really persevering using eyebright also.....any help gladly accepted please. Thank you

Answer:
MSM is not really a dry eyedrop, though may help a little. Try our Tear Stimulation homeopathic eyedrops. The Oasis Plus eyedrops (preservative free) are also very popular. Using a Bruders Mask daily may help with the tear duct blockage. (Reviewed in 2018)

Eye polyps or cobblestone under the eyelids Review by Bee
Quality
My daughter has just started using MSM eyedrops. Will they help for eye polyps or cobblestone under the eyelids?

Answer:

Maybe ... as they have natural anti-inflammatory properties and soften tissue to allow better transport of nutrients, so it is worth trying. You can also apply Castor Oil on her eyelids to see if that helps as well. (Reviewed in 2017)

Dry Eye relief Review by JL
Quality
I have been using MSM drops for a few months now and am so happy with the relief I have experienced. Restasis and saline eye drops have not been helping with the inflammation, gritty feeling or redness. MSM drops seem to be alleviating these symptoms almost completely. I have backed off Restasis and when I do use it my eyes seem to burn and get dryer. I'm contemplating using the homeopathic drops that you recommend for Sjogrens as well. I have also recommended this site to the Sjogrens FB page. (Reviewed in 2017)
Question Review by Kayla
Quality
I'm sorry this is not a review, I am very interested in our hashing this, especially at the affordable price. I have horrible pinguecuela from living in Hawaii and I'm only 26. They seem to get worse over time and I'm getting married soon and really want to feel beautiful and not have yellow, bumpy, and red-blood-vessel-ed inflamed eyes :( please help, what can I do?

Answer: This is a tough problem to resolve other than surgery. The MSM Drops used as eyedrops daily may be helpful in managing and even possibly reducing it, but will not resolve it. We also have the pterygium package (http://www.naturaleyecare.com/shop/pterygium-package-1.html) which might be helpful if surgery is out of the question.

Do read the pterygium information page http://www.naturaleyecare.com/eye-conditions/pterygium/ for general points about protection against sun and wind since this kind of growth is much more common in sunny, windy environments.

Note: We did come across this research about treating the condition with argon laser photocoagulation: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23449487 You can consult your opthamologist about that type of treatment. (Reviewed in 2017)
Great for Dry Eyes, Broken Blood Vessels, etc. Review by Bobbi S
Quality
I really love this product. I was having trouble with broken blood vessels in my eye, as well as inflammation and extremely dry eyes. I had used steroid drops on and off for a long time. I talked to my eye doctor about these drops, and he suggested I give it a try. These drops not only soothe and comfort, but speed up clearing when eyes are red or you get a broken blood vessel. I will never be without these drops in my medicine cabinet, and they are always in my carry-on luggage when I travel. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere without them. (Reviewed in 2017)

Do the msm drops help with optic neuritis?

Answer:
Possibly, but we do not know if the anti-inflammatory benefits of MSM Drops reach that part of the eye. We do have a good supplement protocol for supporting the optic nerve and helping to reduce inflammation naturally. For more information, go to www.naturaleyecare.com/ocular-support/optic-nerve-support. (Reviewed in 2015)
Its a good product have a question Review by Bilal

I am using the drops for my floaters seems its working lightning it up.

I wanted to ask if I give these to my 7 years old son diagnosed with shortsightedness.

Answer:

Glad the MSM Drops are helping you. They probably will not benefit Myopia, but daily eye exercises can. You should have your son evaluated by a
Behavioral Optometrist. To locate a practitioner near you, go to www.oepf.org, (Reviewed in 2015)
MSM Powder and MSM Drops Helped Dry Eye and Floaters Review by Judy
Quality
One month ago I purchased MSM capsules for an ache in my knee. I am 67. The knee got much better but so did the 90% of the persistent itch and dryness in my left eye which had been going on for three years nonstop. This was an unexpected joy! I had purchased over a dozen brands of pharmacy drops recommended by eye doctors and not one of them helped for even 5 minutes. I ordered the MSM Eye Drops and have been using them three times a day for a week. My eye is almost totally normal now. I have purchased more bottles to give to my sons. All of us work on computers 7 days a week and your eyes get very dry. I live in a desert area which makes it worse. I have been recommending the drops to anyone who will listen. Relief from pain is the best gift you can give. (Reviewed in 2014)
Dry eye Review by Starlene
Quality
I have dry eyes and used these for awhile and then discontinued. After several months I noticed nothing I tried would alleviate the burning, gritty felling and terrible redness. I seen these sitting on on counter and tried them again. Within a few days my eyes felt better and the redness had subsided. I put myself on reorder so I do not run out of these drops. I wear eye makeup and after removal I use a few drops in each eye and I am shocked at the debris that floats out that I do not even see. I have been to multiple doctors for treatment of my dry eyes and have been on restasis (super expensive) for three years. I even had punctual plugs. These drops have created an improvement that I have not seen with anything previously tried. The doctors have all but told me I have to live with this which is not acceptable to me. I am sure everyone here has suffered because you were told nothing else could be done. I have been searching for answers for over 25 years. Thank you Dr. Grossman. (Reviewed in 2014)

"I just wanted to let you know that the MSM eyedrops that I have been using from your store have felt fantastic! They really are incredible. I was just in for a routine visit to my ophthalmologist who is helping me treat my dry eye condition. I brought along one of the bottles of MSM eyedrops to show him and ask him what he thought of them. He was pleased to hear how great they felt, and was impressed with the MSM ingredient."

MSM Helps Dry Eye Review by Cheryl, June 2012
Quality
I have ordered the MSM drops in the past when I was having trouble with my corneas, first the left one, then months later, the right one. When awaking from sleep, the cornea would stick to my inner eyelid and when I opened my eyes, the cornea would lift up. It was incredibly painful and I would have to keep my eye closed until the cornea smoothed itself back into place. The condition became so bad that I had to train myself not to open my eyes as soon as I awoke, but to open them gradually. I became afraid to even blink. I had appointments with two different ophthalmologists. One said the condition was caused by dry eye and he told me to get lubricating eye drops --- they didn't work. The other doctor told me it was due to an injury to the eye and told me to get salt water drops --- they made the problem worse. The only medical treatment he could offer was to reinjure my eye with a burr or stick a needle in the eye, in the hopes that it would heal the original injury. Since that was too gruesome to contemplate, I searched for a natural remedy and finally, found one on earthclinic.com, which spoke about how healing MSM drops are for the eyes and how MSM is so important for the whole body. I placed an order with you and the moment I used the drops, my eyes felt so much better. I used the drops several times a day and within a very short time, the problem was gone. (Reviewed in 2012)
