Dong Gui

Chinese Angelica, Angelica sinensis, has long been used in Chinese medicine for its anti-spasmodic and blood vessel dilating effects, Dong Gui is often used for menstrual cramps, constipation and blood purifying. It is known to contain coumarin, contributing to increased blood flow and osthole, which stimulates the central nervous system. With respect to dark circles under the eyes, it stimulates blood flow, and helps the body to eliminate excess fluid retained by tissues around the eye.
